ABA Therapy Services

Welcome to Transformations Behavioral Solutions, where we're dedicated to providing expert, caring support to transform your family's journey. We specialize in neurodiversity-affirming, trauma-informed, and compassionate assent-based care. Our goal is to inform, educate, and empower parents to feel confident in supporting their child's unique behavioral needs.

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy is a scientifically grounded approach that focuses on understanding and modifying behavior through the application of learning principles. Tailored to individual needs, ABA uses techniques like positive reinforcement to increase desired behaviors and decrease undesired ones. It's a data-driven process, ensuring progress is tracked and treatment plans are adjusted accordingly. Modern ABA emphasizes positive reinforcement and assent-based care, empowering individuals to learn essential skills and improve their quality of life in a respectful and collaborative manner.

Understanding Our ABA Therapy Model at TBS

We recognize that navigating the world of ABA therapy models can be overwhelming. Choosing the right approach is crucial to ensure services align with your child's unique needs and your family's goals. At Transformations Behavioral Solutions (TBS), we've developed a model centered on collaborative growth and empowerment. Key components of our approach include:

  • Comprehensive Parent Training: We provide a mandatory 4-week group parent training course on behavior-based parenting, designed to equip you with essential skills and strategies. This course is to be completed within the first three months of services, fostering a strong foundation for consistent support at home.
  • Active Parent Participation in Direct Therapy: We believe in the power of collaborative learning. We expect parents to participate in a minimum of 4 hours per month of 1:1 direct therapy sessions. This hands-on involvement allows you to actively learn and implement strategies alongside our therapists.
  • Dedicated Parent Coaching: To further support your journey, we offer 2+ hours per month of 1:1 parent coaching. These dedicated sessions provide personalized guidance, address specific challenges, and empower you to confidently apply learned techniques in your daily life.

Our model is built on the belief that parent engagement is essential for successful outcomes. By prioritizing training and collaboration, we aim to create a supportive partnership that empowers your family to thrive.

  3. Comprehensive Assessment (If Applicable): Following the initial consultation, if ABA is deemed appropriate, we will conduct a comprehensive assessment. This assessment allows us to gain a deeper understanding of the individual's needs, strengths, and areas for growth.
  4. Treatment Plan Development: Based on the assessment, our BCBAs will develop a personalized treatment plan outlining specific goals and strategies. We will collaborate with you to ensure the plan aligns with your priorities.
  5. Authorization & Scheduling: We'll assist with insurance authorization, if applicable, and work with you to schedule therapy sessions that fit your schedule.
